The national fair of conscious consumption and sustainable lifestyles in Italy
An event promoted and organised by Terre di Mezzo, being held in Milan, every March, since 2004. Forthcoming in 2016 the XIII edition.

Recent years have been marked by an increasing consumers' awareness about their role in making "green choices" to guarantee a sustainable growth of the planet. In Italy as well as worldwide, the quest for products and services that combine quality and innovation with respect for people and the environment is gaining more and more attention. Since its launch in 2004, Fa' la cosa giusta! has aimed at matching demand and supply, and today it is widely recognised as the national benchmark for conscious consumption and sustainable lifestyles.

Besides the over 700 stands hosted by the different thematic sections, Fa' la cosa giusta! is a 3-day multifaceted event:

It is the project planning & implementing department of Terre di Mezzo publisher. Established in 1994 as a street paper, Terre di mezzo has become one of the main independent publishers in Italy, releasing 40 new titles per year. Besides Fa' la cosa giusta!, Terre di mezzo Eventi promotes other 3 yearly appointments of national relevance: So Critical So Fashion (within the Milano Fashion Week); Kuminda - Festival del diritto al cibo (3-day event on biodiversity and food sovereignty); la Scuola delle Buone Pratiche (a school for the exchange of good "green" practices among municipalities and the public administration).
INSIEME NELLE TERRE DI MEZZO onlus
The charity volunteer association Insieme nelle Terre di Mezzo onlus was born in Milan in 2003 with the aim of raising public awareness on issues such as immigration, poverty, diversity and the promotion of sustainable lifestyles. It promotes the Sleep Out Night, to celebrate the October 17 UN Day of fight against poverty (ONU), come to its 11th edition. In 2010, Insieme nelle Terre di mezzo launched the project La Grande Fabbrica delle Parole - Laboratory of creative writing for children, the first experience of this kind in Italy, with free access to any primary and secondary school classes.

FINAL PRESS RELEASE – Fa' la cosa giusta! 2015

The 12th edition of Fa' la cosa giusta! held in Milan, 13-15 March 2015, was one of the most participated since 2004, with 75.000 registered visitors.

280 appointments were offered in the Cultural Programme of the Fair.

Among the most appreciated ones: "Dark on the road", an experience of food catering in total blindness (over 1.000 people in the 3 days).

On Sunday afternoon, 180 participants attended the presentation of "Santiago per tutti" the very first guide to Santiago pilgrimage through routes accessible forall (people with disabilities, elderly...), written by P. Scidurlo (www.freewheelsonlus.com) and published by Terre di mezzo Editore.

Booked-up at all times over the three days, the Theatre's Square ("Piazza dei teatri"). On Sunday evening, the engaging concert by the multicultural Orchestra di Via Padova has ideally been the closing act of the event.

A few more numbers to confirm the positive results of this 12th edition: 650 credited journalists, 3.500 school students from kindergarten to secondary grade, 360 volunteers.

Forthcoming appointment will be in Turin for a special edition of Fa' la cosa giusta! organised within the framework of the 3rd UNDP International Forum (October 2015, Palalpitour, dates tbc).

The 13th national edition of Fa' la cosa giusta! will be held in Milan, 18-20 March 2016.
